Terms and Conditions for APB Trailers Utility Trailer Rental

1. Customer assumes all risks arising from the use of the utility trailer and understands that the utility trailer can cause injury or death to the customer and others if used improperly.

2. Customer agrees not to hold APB Trailers, LLC liable for down time, materials, or other consequential damages resulting from the use of the utility trailer.

3. Customer promises to hold APB Trailers, LLC harmless from claims resulting from the use of the utility trailer.

4. Customer will return the utility trailer to the APB Trailers, LLC representative at or before the time agreed.  If the trailer is returned after the agreed upon time, customer will pay rental charges at the daily rate for the time he/she has the utility trailer.

5. Customer will pay for any loss or damage, and the customer’s deposit will be applied towards damage to the utility trailer.

6. Customer is responsible for any damage to his/her vehicle or goods in storage or in transport.

7. Customer agrees to inspect the utility trailer periodically and will not use the utility trailer when a defect has been noticed.

8. The weight of the cargo shall not exceed 3,000 lbs.  If damage occurs as a result of exceeding the capacity, the customer is responsible for damages.

9. The transportation or storage of dangerous or illegal materials is prohibited.

10. Customer must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid Driver’s License, and provide proof of current insurance on the vehicle that will be towing the utility trailer.

11. APB Trailers, LLC may terminate this contract and enter customer’s property to recover the utility trailer at any time.

12. Customer agrees that in the event that the utility trailer is not returned in as clean a condition as when it was picked up, a minimum charge of $20 will be made.  The determination as to the condition of the utility trailer will be made by the representative of APB Trailers, LLC.

13. This contract may not be voided except in writing, signed by a representative of APB Trailers, LLC.

14. Customer agrees that there is no reimbursement for unused time.

15. Customer agrees that APB Trailers, LLC may hold the deposit for up to 10 days after the rental has been completed.

16. Customer agrees that there will be a $35 charge for all returned checks.

17. If customer chooses not to hook up lights to their vehicle, APB Trailers LLC shall not be held liable for any accidents or traffic violations that may occur.

18. Customer understands that utility trailers rented from APB Trailers, LLC are self-serve.  Customer is responsible for the proper hook-up of the utility trailer to the towing vehicle, including the proper connection of the coupler, the use of the correct size towing ball, use of safety chains, and proper hook up of lights.

 

   I affirm that I have read, understand, and agree to the Terms and Conditions of the utility trailer rental contract.I understand that any refund due to me will not be paid unless I return the utility trailer on or before the due date and time, and in satisfactory condition.
